EACH LITTLE DETAIL CONTRIBUTES TO THE SUBLIME SETTING

INSIDE

Villa Mia has one Main House and two very modern independent Suites.  The Main House stands at the entrance to the property, accessed by a pathway of 150 lavender plants.  It comprises an open living area with dining room and kitchen, the ensuite master bedroom and a second double bedroom with its own bathroom.  All the rooms look out onto the shady terraces, the gardens and the pool.

The Suites are by the pool, about 20 metres from the Main House.  They are composed of two large rooms, luxuriously decorated and featuring natural stone, open showers and private bathrooms.  One of the suites has a small kitchen area with an open fireplace.

OUTSIDE

The elements used to decorate Villa Mia have all been sourced locally: tufa rock to insulate from the summer sun, stones to form sculptural compositions around the pool, ladders used for the olive harvest as towel racks, swings made from tree bark, ceramics from the atelier of Nicola Fasano in Grottaglie, an expert local artisan.  Together these details combine in a sublime setting, created for harmony and well-being.

Low lighting illuminates the milky white facades and the pergolas in natural wood.

The pool and the veranda are the stars of the show with wide sunbeds beneath the pergolas and the table perfect for outside dining with friends, set in a garden of 150 lavender plants, 80 olive trees, dozens of fruit trees, including cherry, apricot, lemon, orange, mandarin, prickly pear and pomegranate, and over 50 types of plant and flower.

POOL AND VERANDA

The pool features generous shady sunbeds, the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.

Nearby, positioned for easy access from the kitchen and the dining area, is a large barbeque.

There is also a small pool house and utility room.  A staircase leads up one side to the panoramic rooftop, the perfect location for drinks while watching the sunset and to enjoy the cool of the evening.
